Dementia Friendly Fort Worth offers innovative and supportive programs designed to improve the lives of individuals with dementia and their care partners. Our services include daily Zoom activities for older adults, the 5th Street Cafe with in-person peer support groups, and a dementia-friendly certification program for businesses and organizations. We also provide immersive Dementia Live Simulation Training to create better understanding and empathy for those living with dementia. Our mission is to foster a compassionate and inclusive community through education, activities, and support initiatives.

Role Description

This is 30-35 hours per week, on-site role for an Administrative Coordinator located in Fort Worth, TX. Responsibilities include managing administrative tasks, providing excellent customer service, offering organizational support, assisting with financial record-keeping, and ensuring effective communication within the organization and with external stakeholders. The role will have a hands-on approach in supporting daily operations and ensuring smooth delivery of programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and information sharing
  • Proficiency in Administrative Assistance and Organization Skills to manage schedules, documentation, and day-to-day office tasks efficiently
  • Customer Service expertise to provide support and maintain positive relationships with program participants and stakeholders
  • Basic knowledge of Finance and budgeting for tracking expenses and supporting financial processes
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing responsibilities
  • Familiarity with dementia-related programs or a willingness to learn is a plus
  • Proficiency in office software and tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is beneficial
  • Experience with CRM or non-profit work preferred.
